Of course once you arrive in Phuket you will find an
unending supply of local tours to go to -- typically you can
book these through hotel tour desks but if you want to get
organized in advance then you can book online. A few

Pricing if you buy online is not that much different to
buying locally -- the hotel tour desks take a cut as well of
course. The cheapest is to go into Patong town and
book from a local tour company, but this is time consuming
and unless you feel confident about your bargaining ability
you may not get a particularly good deal anyway.

not the unspoiled place it once was -- it's a bit
disappointing to arrive on the beach and find
garbage and that the water is unclear compared to
some of the stops on the way |

there are more facilities and it is ok for children. |

This places comes as a
bit of a shock, the entry area where you buy tickets
is tacky beyond belief. Once inside though it is
actually very good. The show itself is very
impressive and well worth the rather high (by Phuket
standards) price. You can also book it with
Show and Dinner. The dinner is a simple buffet
in a huge air-conditioned restaurant. The food
is not special but because it is right by the
theater you can avoid missing the start of the
show. Recommended. |
